]]> Taken at a beach a couple of months back. whilst changing settings decided I liked the extreme (R) exposure output for my surfing subjects. This has been PP in GIMP (gaussian blur overlay over the original via burn mode with variable opacity). Hope you like.

]]> Last in a sequence of 3 I did last year (but has been sitting in my archive for the year)with this sort of post processing to give it a slightly artistic feel. Didn't straighten the image (only just noticed it now believe or not!) but hope you'll forgive me this ;-) All the best peeps and enjoying the hight quality of your work recently! When i get back to UK will definitely be trying out some of the stuff I've seen.

]]> I thought a pit of colour won't go amis ;-) A macro shot from the GR digital. Processed in gimp. My Mac screen is filthy and I'm not sure how much of the non-flower stuff is JPG artifacts or just dirt ( is there any difference? ;-)) but pretty okay with outcome.

]]> Got this new camera. GR digital. And it rocks. Was testing it out and suddenly pidgeon's were spooked. Turned and hit the shutter and pretty pleased with the result. Its' got this snap focus mode which allows for very minimal shutter lag. A welcome addition to my growing tool base and I'll have some more shots from the camera this week. It also takes amazing macro shots. Have a good week. P.S Will be in Nigeria for this week so sorry if I'm not able to reply to messages as frequently. But will be checking out your blogs!
